I love Cherries!

8 months old

Grace is now 8 months old, the time is flying by.. She is so active now, rolls around every where, babbles and chuckles all the time, she is begining to understand more of what we are saying. She is starting to get to the point where we think she is going to want to crawl and she loves to hold your hands and stand up. She is also now sleeping on her tummy. I took her to the doctor yesterday she is 16lbs 9oz and 27 inches long.

Gracee's Baptism

Grace Marie was baptised in the Luthern Church on January 18, 2008. My parents wedding Anniversary and the day before Matthew's birthday. We had friends and family come down and up for the day, she did so well in Church and just all day, she is such a great baby, never fusses. It wouldn't be Grace if she didn't spit up on the pastor when he asked if she was ready to get baptised. Here is a couple pictures of the day.

Hard to believe it's been almost 8 awesome months that she has been here with us, growing and changing and it's so awesome to get to be with her everyday and watch her grow. She is so amazing and makes us smile every day... She is now rolling all over the place and trying to pull herself up, she likes to stand holding on to us. Were trying to get her to crawl and she is thinking about it.. She is growing like a weed, we think she got bigger overnight. She eats a lot and sleeps a lot, finally through the night. Last weekend, we went up to Mt. Shasta/Yreka, Matthew and I stayed in Yreka with our good friends Amy and Pat and Gracee spend the night all by herself at my parents. She loves being up there. And to me, I think she thrives a lot in the clean mountain air ;) Last night, we put her in the big bath tub, she really didn't know what to think about it.

Trip to Sacramento

First trip of the year to Sacramento, Matthew's best friend Fred, his sister's wedding reception was down there this last weekend, so we took the opportunity to spend some time with our cousin's down there. Grace does so well traveling, she just sleeps or plays in her car seat and doesn't make a sound, unless it's to sing. She had a great weekend. And we had fun too! Grace and Lexi

One of my bestest friends came up from Plumas Lake to hang out with Gracee and I. She brought her daughter Lexi, who is exactly a year older than Gracee. Gracee doesn't get to spend a lot of time around other children, I don't know if she knew what to think, but they got along, here is some picture's of them. Little do they know they will end up being best friends too ;)

Happy New Year

Happy New Year! Hard to believe it's already 2009! New Years Eve we just hung out at home, Matthew had to work and we normally don't do much, I think I was asleep by 11, (Party Animal) and Matthew likes to stay up for the ball drop. New Year's Day, Matthew's parents watched Grace and we went to Redding on a date, lunch and the movies, we saw Four Christmas's, (super cute). We decided it was a good time to take down the tree too.
